ELEMENT - LINE - Parallel, Pshychic, Vertical
Describing FORM: What is the specific communicative strategy? Where is it found?
I feel the goal of the filmmaker here was to denote a feeling of dread. The vertical lines of the bodies give it a firm footing, while the parallel lines of their extended arms give the impression of teamwork. The psychic lines from their eyes seal the deal, and instantly make you concerned for whomever their gaze is set.
Discussing CONTENT: What does it communicate?
To me, this image represents partnership. The Parallel lines run along side each other, just as these two characters work together to achieve a common goal. Everything about this image says that they have are a well lubricated machine, working together in unison. Regardless of context, one can't help but be on their side.
