ART101 Section B —Apparel Design—Motion: Kinesthetic empathy
Motion – Kinesthetic empathy
Describing FORM: What is the specific communicative strategy?
Where is it found?
Kinesthetic empathy is an unconscious reaction we feel in our body; we feel as well as see the action that is depicted in a design. As we look as this image, we see the woman's scarf blowing in the wind
Discussing CONTENT: What does it communicate?
In seeing this image, the consumer feels comfortable and happy. The woman's scarf almost emulates a butterfly as the wind makes the scarf flows. This motion helps the consumer feel as if they can also feel the wind. The consumer also sees how serene and beautiful the scarf makes you look, making them want to have it for themselves.
