Principle-Motion: Kinesthetic Empathy
Describing FORM: What is the specific commutative strategy? Where is it found?
Kinesthetic empathy is something that you feel while seeing something that is in motion. In this screenshot from Fast and Furious 7, there is a lot of it. The scene takes place in id air, so of course there’s going to be some feelings.
The cars in this scene are positioned on a tilt, all of which adds to the illusion and the suspense and the overall feel of motion. This scene was probably shot in some 3D rendering software, so they could have gotten really precise with how they shot was seen from the viewers perspective.
Discussing CONTENT: What does it communicate?
This is a wondrous scene, cars are falling out of the sky, your falling out of your seat, the whole thing is very dramatic. In the midst of all of this you also get a reckless sense of wonder because nobody in their right mind would choose to fall out of a plane in a car. While most people have never done this sort of thing, you can almost put yourself in the shoes of the characters as they are enjoying their ride in the sky.
