Proportion is the showing size in multiple or a single object/ person, while exaggerated is when the size is blown up to extreme sizes.

To me the image gives me a feeling of both adventure and fear due to the sheer size of the giants, as well as the use of exaggeration on even the giants body parts like the nose, and torso gives off a feeling of unease.
