Proportion is the size relationship of different parts to the whole. Exaggerrated proportion occurs when aspects of an object are made look larger or smaller than they actually are. Here it is found in the Stay Puft man. Something usually small is now towering over buildings.
Discussing CONTENT: What does it communicate?
The Stay Puft marshmallow man has always been perceived as a very genial character. Here he has become the exact opposite, causing destruction on downtown Manhattan. By blowing his proportions up, we now see what kind of havoc can be reaked by even the cutest mascot. A symbol that once meant cheer and fun, now means fear and run.
