Principle-Proportion: Notions of the Ideal
Describing FORM: What is the specific commutative strategy? Where is it found?
Proportion is all about relationships that things have to eachother and how they are seen as one. When viewing another person, we as humans unconsciously asess their proportions to our own ideal human figure we have in our minds. Take the Red Queen from Alice Through the Looking Glass for example, her head is huge, and that in return evokes a response from us when we see her. She also likes objects that are mis-proportioned as well.
Discussing CONTENT: What does it communicate?
The reaction that you have at seeing her usually begins with bewilderment. Having a large head is less common than large legs or ears or something, so at first you will likely be a little shocked. After that though, you just can't help youself from laughing internaly at her since she looks like a living caricature of herself! It's hard the take a bobble-head serriously especially when the bobble head takes itself way too seriously.
